Presentation One
Title:
Purple Teaming: Red & Blue not Red vs Blue
Speaker:
Jorge Orchilles
Abstract:
We have all heard that defense should inform offense and that offense should inform defense. How does this work from a practical perspective? In this talk we will cover the evolution of Red Teaming to bring more value to the blue teams and vice-versa by introducing a new perspective, the Purple Team. We will present a test case of how Red Teams can bring value to SOC and Incident Responders and how SOC and Incident Responders bring value to Red Teams.
Presentation Two
Title:
Anatomy of a Cloud Data Breach
Speaker:
Bio:
Abstract:
As cloud services proliferate in organizations, the nature of data breaches fit the nature of those services. Between many connected devices, which increase the attack surface, and capabilities like sync and share, which increase data velocity in the cloud, both the propensity and the severity of a cloud data breach rise. Drawing on unique anonymized data seen in the Netskope cloud, Netskope Sales Engineer, Jay Bivens, will demonstrate how to detect a breach in the cloud using anomaly detection techniques, and how to use advanced forensic techniques to reconstruct a complex audit trail of events leading up to and following the breach.
