Our most recent SFISSA monthly meeting came with a view, held right on the beach at the Marenas Beach Resort in Sunny Isles and powered by a special collaboration with our friends at HackMiami.
We’re incredibly grateful to the HackMiami team for hosting us and providing such an amazing location. The space was perfect for two powerful talks by industry veterans Moses Frost and Tim Krabec, who delivered thought-provoking sessions that had the room fully engaged.
🔹 Moses Frost broke down advanced red team tactics in “Red Team Coffee Bar: Advanced Adversary Edition,” blending real breach scenarios with cloud-native evasion techniques, browser-based persistence, and even some AI fun.
🔹 Tim Krabec took us on a journey through “Active Response Risk Reduction,” challenging us to rethink how we apply real-world security concepts to our cyber defenses.
Afterward, we kept the energy going with a lively happy hour just down the street at Porter House Music Bar & Grill. Big shoutout to everyone who made the trip — your presence is what makes this community thrive.

We’re thrilled to announce that HackMiami will be running the Advanced Capture The Flag competition at this year’s SFISSA Conference & Hack the Flag event!
This marks a powerful reunion of two of South Florida’s most dedicated cybersecurity communities — and we can’t wait to see what they bring to the table this year.
