As a member of SFISSA, you can help us help you in two ways TODAY!
1) Submit an article to the ISSA Journal.
You no doubt have experience and war-stories that you can share with other members in ISSA. The ISSA Journal is definitely looking for relevant, informative articles on a variety of InfoSec subjects. We will help you every step of the way to get your perspective and informative articles considered for publication.
You gain recognition, and many of the InfoSec certification bodies recognize publication of your articles as evidence of Continuing Education, or involvement in your field. The benefits include educating others and sharing your valuable knowledge.
I am challenging all of our members to submit enough articles for SFISSA to have at least one article per month in the ISSA Journal.
2) Speak at the ISSA International Conference in Orlando, this coming October 22-23 in Orlando, Florida – USA
Share Your Expertise
Speaker submissions are due March 21, 2014
We are seeking sessions that will be relevant to an audience of experienced information security professionals from a variety of industries. Sessions should be solution oriented, proactive, and innovative, focusing on security as a vital part of the business landscape. Presentations can address any issue that InfoSec professionals might face; for example – business skills, technical updates, legal knowledge.
